Hello to our patients and families!
The last few months at Arise have been unique, but still incredibly sweet.
We celebrated Erica Coyle (SLP) winning "Best Halloween Door" (thank you to everyone who participated in voting), we have had many patients "graduate" from therapy, and we are looking at plans to begin expanding the clinic, as we are continuing to grow in number (you may have noticed some of us are occasionally using the lobby as our office!)
Along with welcoming many new patients, we have also onboarded some incredible new members to our team (Allison, Megan, Morgan, and Brittney).
We feel incredibly blessed. As we look forward to the unknowns, we trust that things are continually working together for good.
Thank you to all our families for your constant encouragement and joyful spirits. We would not be who we are without you!

COMING SOON TO SPRING HILL: Park Communication Boards
We are excited to announce that we will be partnering with the local Spring Hill parks, the Kiwanis Club, and a few local student organizations to install park communication boards at Port Royal Park, Harvey Park, and Evans Park.
Communication boards may display the alphabet, pictures, and core words, which allow kids of all communication levels to talk and have fun with each other.
Stay tuned for more announcements about fundraising opportunities and a potential installation/grand opening for Spring 2021.
Feel free to email allyssa@arisetherapies.org with questions or for more information!

Holiday Gift Guide
Our lead OT, Heidi Terry, arranged for team members from both speech and occupational therapy to contribute gift ideas that will benefit children who may have speech or OT concerns. To the right are some examples. For the full list of gift ideas click HERE! |
Employee of the Month:
Our employee for the month of December is Allyssa VelDink!
Allyssa has recently taken time to receive special trainings, has made an incredible impact on the community (see communication board section), and is always using her creativity to improve our clinic's resources and contribute creative ideas.
We are so thankful to have her as a part of our team. Congratulations, Allyssa!

OT Home Carryover Activity
This quarter's OT home carryover activity is Cookie Baking!
This is a great (and delicious) activity because it incorporates a variety of skills that may be addressed in occupational therapy.
